YA FEST PA 2018 is almost here!

Hey everyone, Spring is in the air! And that means it’s almost time for YA FEST PA 2018! Twenty-five Authors, One Epic Day!

The multi-author book signing event will be held at the Palmer Branch of the Easton Public Library on April 21st, 2018. The address is 515 Church Street, Easton PA, 18042. And here is the schedule:

Golden Ticket Event – 1:00 PM

Mini-panels – 2:00 PM

Signings – 3:00 to 5:00 PM

Be sure to sign up for the Golden Ticket Event early, as tickets are limited! You can also reserve titles you wish to purchase ahead of time.

We’re also having a Kickoff Event at B&N Bethlehem on April 20th from 7 to 9 PM for educators. The address is 4445 Southmont Way, Easton, PA 18045

The RT Convention is Almost Here!

I’m super excited to be attending the Romantic Times Convention 2017 in Atlanta! The RT Convention is the book industry event of the year and if you want to learn more you can check out their website here. It’s my first time attending as a published author and I’ll be there from May 1st through May 7th. Can’t wait to meet author friends both old and new! I’m also especially looking forward to meeting new reader fans! I’m going to be giving out tons of free swag, goodies, and books! I’ve even promised author friend C.M. McCoy that I’ll be joining her for some spontaneous Irish Dancing! Lord only knows what else I may be caught doing!

Also on Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 PM I’ll be attending Pistols & Petticoats.

On Thursday evening from 5:15 – 6:15 PM I’m planning on going to the Peaches & Cream Party thrown by Kensington. And then from 8:45 – 11:45 PM I’ll be at the Spec Ops, Spies & Speakeasy: Roaring 20’s Costume Party.

On Friday from 7:00 – 9:00 PM I’ll be at the RT Awards Ceremony followed by the RT Awards Reception. After that, I’m planning on going to Magnolias & Moonshine.

I’m especially looking forward to Saturday, because from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM I’ll be meeting readers and signing THE GHOST CHRONICLES at the Giant Book Fair! You can buy your copy ahead of time and I’ll be happy to sign it at the Book Fair. Or you can purchase a copy at the Fair that day. I’ll be seated near the end of Row 18 in YA Alley. Also on Saturday, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM I’ll be participating in the Teen Day Party! Be one of the first 500 to register and receive one of these bags + swag! RT Teen Day

After that I’ll be kicking up my heels at Heather Graham’s Dancing Dead Southern-Style Dinner Theater! I’m coming in costume as a ghost, but that’s all I’ll tell you for now!

And last, but not least, on Sunday I’ll be meeting readers and signing at the RT Roundup Meet & Greet from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM!

B-Fest Teen Book Festival, here we come!

Barnes & Noble is hosting B-Fest, the first ever nationwide Teen Book Festival, a three-day event over the weekend of June 10 – June 12th celebrating all the best young adult literature has to offer. And I’m so pleased to announce that myself and Month9 author Brynn Chapman will be part of the festivities! Brynn and I will signing and giving a workshop for teens at three Barnes and Noble stores in NJ! Here is the official blurb:

“CONNECTING TEENS TO THE EXCITING WORLD OF PUBLISHING”

Workshop- presented by YA authors Marlo Berliner (The Ghost Chronicles) and Brynn Chapman (Boneseeker and The Requiem Red). This event is a must for any teen who dares call themselves an avid reader or fan of YA!
Marlo and Brynn will discuss how teens can discover the hottest new young adult books, receive content tailored specifically to their preferences, access exclusive excerpts and giveaways, and connect with their favorite authors online in a variety of new and exciting ways. Marlo and Brynn will also discuss how teens can begin writing and sharing their own fan fiction, flash fiction, poetry and short stories. The door to the publishing world is more open to teens than ever before, Marlo and Brynn will be here to help lead them through it!

Brynn and I are so excited to speak with teens about something we are very passionate about – encouraging reading, writing and literacy among young adults.

BARNES & NOBLE BOOKFAIR!

425 Marketplace Boulevard  Hamilton, NJ 08691. We will have a reading, refreshments, and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit The Friends of the Hamilton Twp. Library.

The book was inspired by the legend of a haunting at The Angel of the Sea in Cape May, NJ and it’s an honor to be signing not only in NJ, but in my home town of Hamilton Twp.
